Food…OH Yes!

Most would say rain or shine, at Stayful we say ANYTIME because 221 South Oak is always too yummy to pass up. With an inviting outdoor patio, this fine dining restaurant offers summertime specials that will have you licking the plate clean. For any reality TV fans, keep an eye out for chef and owner Eliza Gavin who competed on season 10 of Bravo’s Top Chef.

A more causal ‘Oak’

If you’re looking for something a little more causal and family-friendly, we recommend an Oak of a different kind: Oak…The New Fat Alley BBQ. Head to the base of Chair 8, order the pulled pork and grab a lot of napkins! DEEEELISH! The restaurant is located in the Camel's Garden Hotel. The luxurious rooms with its fireplaces and custom-crafted furniture promise the perfect relaxing evening after an amazing meal.

“Make your feet smile”

Whether you're in the mood for stand-up paddle-boarding, biking, rafting or hiking – Bootdoctors has you covered – Image courtesy of bootdoctors.com

The Bootdoctors’motto sums it up nicely – the best bootfitting in town (or maybe even the country) means happy feet. From their three convenient locations in Telluride - Main Street, Oak Street and Mountain Village - the Bootdoctors can lend a hand (or foot!) with anything from winter and summer rentals to outdoor guided adventures. Think whitewater rafting, mountain biking, challenging hikes and more. Be sure to charge your camera… you’ll need all the battery power you have to capture the excitement!

What We Love

Stayful has a love/love relationship with Telluride and we are happy to share our insider recommendations. They don’t have a stoplight for 45 miles, yet this inviting mountain town still manages to have something for everyone.

Okay, it is not officially called “Mr. Gondola”… however, this fantastic free ride deserves all the respect you can muster. And yes, it is FREE. Jump on for a soaring transport between Mountain Village and Telluride. Locals refer to it as the ‘best commute in the world’ – check it out and see why!
