Local Guide

Portland is home to more breweries than any other city on earth. Line up for samples at these great local establishments, or check out a beer festival or Brew n’ View Theater to keep your whistle wet. But be sure to pull yourself away from the barstool for a few hours to explore the great outdoors…or shop!

With 53 breweries and counting, it took us much thought (and many samples) to make Upright Brewing our top pick. Once you arrive, just head downstairs to a basement of hops heaven. These dudes know their brews, so ask a few questions, get a flight and just chillllll.

Outdoor Weekend Shopping for all

Rain or shine, head to Waterfront Park on any March - December weekend for the Portland Saturday Market. It’s the nation’s largest weekly open-air market, featuring local arts and crafts. You’re sure to come home with a unique treasure or gift.
