Local Guide

Local watering holes, day hiking, shopping, live music and sports… your trip to Denver can be as active or relaxed as you desire. There is always a great show to catch at The Fillmore or to keep it outdoors, head to Red Rocks Amphitheater. If dining and drinking are more your style, read on for our picks.

9th Door

An evening in downtown Denver is not complete without a stroll down Lamont Street. Once you’ve taken in all the sights and sounds, we recommend enjoying a drink and some food at 9th Door, a local hot spot for Tapas. And stay late for some great tunes!

Brews and Cruise

See the masters at work and learn about more than 300 years of brewing tradition at a Coors Brewery tour. Tasting of course included. - Image courtesy of millercoors.com

Coors Brewing Company, located nearby in Golden, has surely influenced Denver’s love of beer. If craft beer is more your style, take a tour with Denver Brews Cruise and enjoy multiple breweries and a wide variety of yummy samples.

What We Love

Denver-ites are well known for enjoying the outdoors. We have a few recommendations that will keep you active during your stay. (But don’t forget to stay hydrated to avoid altitude headaches… keep the water coming, please!)

Time to Park It

View a spectacular sunset over the Denver skyline from City Park

While visiting Denver, two parks are a must – Washington Park (or Wash Park to locals) and City Park. Both have numerous walking trails, and in the summer you can catch a concert in City Park. Wash Park has year round activities including tennis courts and paddleboat rentals. So get out there and enjoy the fresh mountain air!

The Crawford Hotel

The Crawford does not only have super comfy beds, but also amazing amenities like Tesla™ courtesy car service within a 2 mile radius

Located in the historic Denver Union train station, The Crawford Hotel is only 6 blocks from Coors Field and 1 block from the Convention Center. This newly opened hotel combines historic elements with modern amenities. With evening turndown service and exceptional service, you may never want to leave.
